The RCP gives Mike Huckabee the Priestly Blessing
In a letter to former governor Mike Huckabee, The Rabbinical Congress for Peace which brings together 400 of the most prominent rabbis in Israel, congratulated him on his appointment as U.S. Ambassador to Israel.
Mike Huckabee as often said that he doesn’t know “who invented this political perversion called ‘two state solution’. It is a stupid, foolish and dangerous idea which should be removed from the agenda. Any area which will not remain under Israeli control will turn into a dangerous hotbed for terrorist activity.”
In their letter the rabbis praised the former governor for bringing clarity the Arab-Israeli conflict.

To our esteemed and honorable friend
Gov. Mike Huckabee
Greetings and blessings:
Like you, we too are equally ecstatic and overjoyed by your appointment as US Ambassador to
Israel. In the course of your career, you have brought great clarity to the Israeli-Arab conflict by
stating loudly and unequivocally:
“Israel has the most legitimate claim to the ancient heartland of Biblical Judea and Samaria.
"When people say, 'Well, what do you think about the occupied territory?' I say: 'Oh, it's
occupied, all right, by the people who have the title deed and have an indigenous sovereign
right to be in this land! It's occupied by the people who own it!
"You'll never hear me use the term 'West Bank,' because Judea and Samaria are not the West
Bank of something, they are the land that God has given to His chosen people.”
In a historic period, G-d Almighty, the Creator of the Universe, has entrusted you with the
opportunity to help the people of Israel and the entire world and to change the current situation
for the betterment of mankind. Since only you are capable of completing this duty, we are
confident that the Holy One, blessed be He, will give you the necessary power to do so.”
We look forward to meeting you on your arrival in Israel and to working with you closely for the
integrity and security of the Holy Land.
May G-d Almighty bless you and safeguard you. May G-d Almighty radiate His countenance
upon you and be gracious to you. May G-d Almighty turn His countenance to you and establish
peace for you.
Respectfully and cordially,
Rabbi Joseph Gerlitzky Rabbi Avrohom Shmuel Lewin
